Chief of Staff to the Superintendent
Lisa is the daughter of immigrants and a proud product of K–12 public schools, where strong community support shaped her path. She began her career as an educator with Teach For America and in education technology. After earning her MBA, she moved to the Bay Area in 2020 to continue her education work in the private sector. However, her passion for public service and commitment to equity and opportunity led her to grassroots organizing during the 2024 presidential election.
As a Bay Ed Fund Fellow, Lisa now serves as Chief of Staff to the superintendent of the San Mateo-Foster City School District, bringing experience in strategy, operations, and community organizing to strengthen public schools.|
